We will not know the lies Lucifer puts in front of us without opening our Bibles and reading God’s truth. Lucifer’s main goal is to distort the truth and fill it with his lies. 2 Corinthians 11:14-15, For Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no great surprise if HIS SERVANTS also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. We all have seen movies depicting evil spirits unable to enter into churches or holy ground. Demons can enter into houses of worships. Luke 4:33-35 (Mark 1:23), In the synagogue (building where a Jewish assembly meets for religious worship and instruction) there was a man with an unclean demonic spirit who cried out with a loud voice. “Leave us alone! What do you have to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are – the Holy One of God!” But Jesus rebuked him and said, “Be silent and come out of him!” And throwing him down before them, the demon came out of him without hurting him at all. The truth is the only thing that can save our souls and Christ has shown us the truth.
Matthew 10:16, Look, I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd (sharp powers of judgement) as serpents and as innocent as doves. Jesus spoke to his disciples warning them about the wolves that would be out in the world trying to disrupt their gospel of truth. Wolves are known to be cunning, ferocious and stealthy. They have disguised themselves as servants of righteousness in our very own churches. There is no limit or boundaries to Lucifer’s lies and we can see it daily. We see it in churches who are preaching their own doctrine and so many are lost because they DO NOT READ the Bible. If you do not know the truth that is in the Bible and you rely only on those false servants, you won’t even realize you are lost. The Church does not determine what the Bible teaches, it is the Bible that determines what the Church must teach. We must examine and refer to the Bible to ensure what the Church teaches is true. When there are inconsistencies in preaching/doctrine versus the Bible/Truth of God, then you will know that it is a wolf at the pulpit preaching. Matthew 15:8, This people honors me with their lips, but their hearts is far from me. They worship me in vain, teaching as doctrines human commands. The wolves are not at the front door anymore, they have already infiltrated the flock. Stalking, deceiving, disguising and planning to devour as many lost souls as possible till the return of Christ.
John 10, Jesus speaks about being the shepherd and the one who enters through the gate and doesn’t climb/sneak over the gate is the one the sheep’s recognize. The sheep will recognize him and follow him because they know his voice. The true sheep will never follow a stranger, instead they will run away because they do not know the voice. Verse 7-17, Jesus said again, “Truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. All who come before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep didn’t listen to them. I am the gate. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will come in and go out and find pasture. A thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come so that they may have life and have it in abundance. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. The hired hand, since he is not the shepherd and doesn’t own the sheep, leaves them and runs away when he sees the wolf coming. The wolf then snatches and scatters them. This happens because he is a hired hand and doesn’t care about the sheep. I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father. I lay down my life for the sheep. But I have other sheep that are not from this sheep pen; I must bring them also and they will listen to my voice. Then there will be one flock, one shepherd. This is why the Father loves me, because I lay down my life so that I may take it up again.” We will be able to recognize God and his voice because we are his flock. We can only do this with reading the Bible and being guided by the Holy Spirit. God wants to save everyone because he is a merciful and loving God.
I am sure many Christian and Non-Christians have already heard about Ravi Zachariah’s scandal in the media. There is no doubt and no argument can be made against the truth that he was sinning behind closed doors. Whether it was rape, adultery, lies, using Gods name in vain to carry out his sin, he will be judged by God. I really never heard or knew about this man until after his death and when news broke about his behind the scenes activities. He had the title, the prestige, popularity, fame, money etc. and shined on stage acting as a humble and faithful believer. What greater proof do we need that the wolves are already ministering on the pulpit? Many followers tried to hide the truth and was angry about tarnishing a so called man of God’s name. “The desire for fame has silenced truth in more churches more than persecution ever has,” Ron Smith. The previous pastor of Hillsong Church, Carl Lentz admitted to sexual infidelity and lying. He became famous with celebrities and lived like a rock star. Again another one shining on the stage, disguising himself as a follower of Christ. Pride, lust, boasting are just some of the sins we see being displayed in Social Media every single day. Lucifer entered their heart and whether their intentions were pure in the start of their ministries, the veil has been lifted. A sin that no one else knows about committed behind closed doors, in a dark room, is still a sin being committed in the presence of a Holy God. Luke 8:17, For nothing concealed that won’t be revealed and nothing hidden that won’t be made known and brought to light. The wolves are stalking the flock and they really are hidden, until Jesus reveals them to the world. But when we have Jesus and the Spirit guiding us, we will be able to distinguish the difference between true and false doctrine. 1 Corinthians 2:14, But the person without the Spirit does not receive what comes from God’s Spirit, because it is foolishness to him; he is not able to understand it since it is evaluated spiritually.
The wolves can have a multitude of sins inside of their hearts. They are well versed in the knowledge of the Bible and can confuse you with lies if you do not know the word of God. The wolves don’t show signs of remorse or repentance. Their heart is full or pride and makes them believe they are above God’s laws. The wolves are teaching that you can live a lifestyle against the Word of God and still claim that you will enter the kingdom of heaven. They preach the false doctrine teachings that we can be like God. The same pride and belief, Lucifer continues to have even to this day. The major problem is many of the false leaders in the church want to live like rock stars/celebrities. They want to fly in private jets, have multiple homes worth millions, multiple cars, feel important/influencer and have the most followers/likes on social media. The core of their worship is not on God but on themselves. The goal of the Gospel is to bring people to God. It is not to fill churches with as many people as you can and make a profit. The Gospel is to reconcile and build a relationship with God, to save them from the wrath to come. They are not really believers but become fans of that person and begin to have more faith and praise the person than working on their faith and praising God. The wolves use God to set the trap and once captured, distort the truth into their lies. But those who are lost and do not build a relationship with God will not see the light. We are not here to build a relationship with the pastor, he is a guide to bring your relationship closer to God. Being a preacher is no easy task, and they need support and prayers from all of us. We need to continually pray for the people who do God’s ministry. But who is Ravi or Carl in the whole aspect of the One and Only King Jesus? They are nothing but mere men. When you put your belief and faith in man, you will only end in disappointment and failure. Isaiah 42:8, I am the Lord. That is my name and I will not give my glory to another or my praise to idols. God will not share his praise or glory with anyone and rightfully so.
The wolves and the sheep in this world will be cohabitating together. We interact with non-believer on a daily basis. In Matthew 13:24-30, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seeds in his field. But while people were sleeping, his enemy came, sowed weeds among the wheat and left. When the plants sprouted and produced grain, then the weeds also appeared. The landowner’s servants came to him and said, “Master, didn’t you sow good seeds in your field? Then where did the weeds come from?’ “An enemy did this,” he told them. “So, do you want us to go and pull them up?” the servants asked him. “No,” he said. “When you pull up the weeds, you might also uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest. At harvest time I’ll tell the reapers: Gather the weeds first and tie them in bundles to burn them, but collect the wheat in my barn.” Jesus is explaining there will be a time when the good and bad souls will be separated by the angels at the time of judgement. His sheep will all be in one flock. Until then we must continue to spread the Gospel and save as many souls as possible.
“Christians have become more evangelistic with their political ideology than with biblical theology. Christians and the church have become more evangelistic under politics than they have on the gospel. I do not trust in Trump. I do not trust in Biden. But I will pray for them both, but I don’t trust in them. Trusting in democrats or republicans, is trusting in man. Trusting in politics is trusting in man,” Pastor Tim Dilena of Times Square Church. Jeremiah 17:5, Cursed is the person who trusts in mankind. He makes human flesh his strength and his hear turns from the Lord. Those sheep who put their trust in man, a person, a figure more than Christ himself, doom only awaits. John 14:6-7, Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you know me, you will also know my Father. From now on you do know him and have seen him.” Once you know him and have that relationship you can decipher truth from lies. John 8:42-47, Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, because I came from God and I am here. For I didn’t come on my own, but he sent me. Why don’t you understand what I say? Because you cannot listen to my word. You are of your father the devil and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murder from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he tells a lie, he speaks from his own nature, because he is a liar and the father of lies. Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me. Who among you can convict me of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don’t you believe me? The one who is from God listens to God’s words. This is why you don’t listen, because you are not from God.
Christians have been divided between Conservative vs Liberal, Republican vs Democrat, Red vs Blue, Elephant vs Donkey, COVID vs Hoax etc. Now more than ever we must come to the realization that we are not called to be any of these such things. The government has its own place and job to do, just like Christians. We are to pray for those in power but not trust or rely on any man/government to be able to fix what only God can fix. It is amazing to see that all throughout the Bible, multiple kingdoms have attempted to establish their kingdoms like King Nebuchadnezzar or King Darius against God. In the end they have all proclaimed that the only One True King is God. In Revelation, we can read Satan will build his kingdom and his army. There will be one final battle and in the end, Jesus is the victor. One last time a kingdom will try to proclaim their greatness above Christ, but they will be defeated. Christ will be riding on a white horse with his army and for one last time will proclaim once and for all the One True King is God alone!
2 Corinthians 4:1-6, Therefore, since we have this ministry because we were shown mercy, we do not give up. Instead, we have renounced secret and shameful things, not acting deceitfully or distorting the word of God, but commending ourselves before God to everyone’s conscience by an open display of the truth. But if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. In their case, the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelievers to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For WE ARE NOT PROCLAIMING OURSELVES but JESUS CHRIST as Lord and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’s sake. For God who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of God’s glory in the face of Jesus Christ. We must examine everything we hear and see if those who speak, are they proclaiming themselves or Christ? Also ask yourself, If Jesus preached what these people preached, would he have ever been crucified!” Read that again and make sure you understand that clearly. When a church changes Biblical truth to match current culture they are no longer following the Bible, they are following and pleasing the lost.
Man alone can’t fix any of the problems we are currently facing. The world has turned away from God, more than ever before. Only turning back to Christ and repenting can bring us peace. No one is perfect but Christ. Do not put importance on the person, but importance on the message and if it is the truth they are speaking. We must know the correct Doctrine and be led by the Spirit. If your heart is broken or your faith has been weakened because of the actions of any person/ministry, then you are missing the point of being a true follower of Christ. There is no one more important than Christ. There is no other answer but Christ. God is calling for our repentance. Joel 2:12-13, Even now – this is the Lord’s declaration – turn to me with all your heart, with fasting, weeping and mourning. Tear your hearts, not just your clothes and return to the Lord your God. For he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger, abounding in faithful love and he relents from sending disaster.
Acts 20:28-31, Be on guard yourselves and for all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has appointed you as overseers, to shepherd the church of God, which he purchased with his own blood. I know that after my departure (Paul’s farewell speech to Ephesian’s elders) savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. Men will rise up even from your own number and distort the truth to lure the disciples into following them. Therefore be on alert, remembering that night and day for three years I never stopped warning each one of you with tears. These events are happening even now, as we speak. The true flock must hear the shepherd’s voice and recognize him. We must study the Bible, Pray, Fast, Be Filled with Holy Spirit and make sure that the Church’s message is proclaiming Christ and not ourselves. When we do this the wolves cannot scatter the true flock and the shepherd has already laid down his life for us.
Galatians 2:24-26, Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
